What is Maestro? Maestro is a brand of debit card issued by Mastercard. Maestro cards can be used for in-store payments and for withdrawing cash at ATMs.

On July 1, 2024, Mastercard phased out Maestro across Europe. European banks and other card issuers are now required to replace expired or lost Maestro cards with a different card.
